A beautiful finale
Length: 229 pages Published: 25 August 2015
The Beauty and the Beast saga ends with Devastation…
Abused and rejected, Benella strives to regain a purpose for her life, and finds herself returning to the last place she ever wanted to see. She ,use learn when it is right to forgive and when it is time to move on.
Intended for adult readers only due to sexual situations, violence, and moderate language.
This was the perfect ending to the trilogy. It starts off with Benella devastated by her near rape by the baker and struggling with her feelings. She is feeling completely betrayed by those she valued most.
Relationships are both strengthened and destroyed. We finally get to see the truth behind all the characters, those who have been trustworthy and those who need a lesson in humility!
One relationship that stays stable and unbreakable is Benella and her father. It is really enjoyable to see a strong father and daughter bond.
The continued use of the names, Mr Crow and Swiftly were slightly annoying especially when said to their faces (surely they should have corrected her?)
All in all this series is a beautiful and beastly tale of love and redemption. Definitely one of my top series for 2015!!!
