Review of Impossible Girl by K.M Neuhold

Five Stars

The only thing more difficult than catching her, is keeping her.

I’ve spent the last four years in self-imposed celibacy. It was going fine until I met her. Remy Harris, the wild eyed vixen no man can pin down. She’s more than willing to have a good time, but I’m looking for so much more than that.

Love ‘em and leave ‘em. It’s safer that way. In my experience all men are looking for is a good time anyway. It’s better to give them what they want and walk away before they can do the same to you. When I needed a calculus tutor I never expected to find one who’s so…sexy. Since when are nerds so hot?

**While every book in this series can be read as a stand alone, you will likely get more enjoyment from Impossible Girl if you’ve read Worth the Wait and Naughty Angel first

As soon as I saw this book I knew it was going to be a five star review. How did I know that you ask? It’s simple, it was written by the incredibly talented KM Neuhold. I’m happy to say I wasn’t wrong in my prediction.

I was glad when I heard Remy was getting a story, when we see her for the first time in Worth the Wait she comes across as a desperate, nasty woman and a threat to the main characters relationship. What we see in Impossible Girl is actually a scared and vulnerable woman yearning for attention yet terrified of rejection.

In comes Dex, sexy, smart, great sense of humour. He’s the perfect man and to top it all off, he sees the real Remy. He sees her inner beauty, not just the sex object that she allows other men to see in her.

I think what I loved most about this story was the role reversals between Dex and Remy. We usually see the male seducing the woman, the male taking control and dominating sexual encounters. Impossible Girl offers the lead female as the one to take control and definitely shows a sense of empowerment to women.

Impossible Girl is a fantastic novella that needs to be read!!!

About the Author

I’m author K.M.Neuhold and I am an absolute romance junkie both when it comes to reading and writing. I have been writing my entire life but didn’t really find my niche of writing romance until about 2 years ago. I also have an obsession with nerd culture and a major habit of falling terribly in love with my own male main characters. I find myself with a burning need to write female lead characters who don’t crumble at the first sign of conflict. I know there are so many strong women out there who want to read about a woman who doesn’t demure to a man, even if she does love him. And, as my husband often tells me, it takes a real man to handle a strong woman. When I’m not writing or reading I love spending time with my husband and our crazy dog. I also work at a vet clinic where I get to indulge my love of animals all day long.
